Table Medal of the Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiberiopolis in rank of the Holy Macedonian Cross awarded in Strumica ( 11.12.2009 )
Today, at the festive day of the Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiberiopolis, in the church which is dedicated to these Saints in Strumica, Archbishop of Ohrid and all Macedonia HB Stephan, in co-celebration with the Metropolitan of Prespa and Pelagonia and Australian and new Zeeland Administrator Petar, Metropolitan of Debar, Kichevo, Struga and Plaoshnik Timotej, and the competent Metropolitan of Strumica Diocese Nahum, served a Divine Liturgy. On the Liturgy, according to merit of special contribution and devotion in the entire progress and affirmation of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, and in the occasion of the twenty years anniversary of the renewing of the Strumica Orthodox Diocese, Metropolitan of Strumica Diocese HE Nahum, awarded with Table Medal of the Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiberiopolis: His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and all Macedonia Stephan, Metropolitan of Prespa and Pelagonia and Australian and new Zeeland Administrator Petar, Metropolitan of Debar, Kichevo, Struga and Plaoshnik Timotej and the Mayor of Strumica Mr. Zoran Zaev. Metropolitan of Prespa and Pelagonia Petar thanked for the honour given, on behalf of the awarded.
This Table Medal is a new one, in the rank of the Holy Macedonian Cross, and was invented in the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the renewing of Strumica Diocese. It is manufactured so that on the front side are illustrated the Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiberiopolis, and around is written “Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiberiopolis” Strumica, and on the back side is presented the Holy Macedonian Cross, from the southern wall of the Monastery The Most Holy Mother of God Eleusa, Veljusa village near Strumica, and around the Cross it is written: “20 years anniversary of the renewing of Strumica Diocese”. The medal is made from wrought silver 999,9, with a diameter of 60 mm. 7,2 mm thick, and weight of 180 grams, and it was forged in the “JUSTINIJANA PRIMA” Coin factory.
