Hierarch’s Divine Liturgy in Star Dojran ( 13.01.2005 )
Today in the church of Saint Maximus the Confessor in the monastery complex of St. Parthenius of Zographou in Star Dojran, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Metropolitan Nahum of Strumica.
“Whoever really believes that the Gospel commandments were given by the One True God, from this very belief draws strenght to live in the image of Christ. The believer allows no critical approach to the Lord’s word but looks to it for judgment. Like this he recognises himself as a sinner and grieves over his wretched state. Absence of grief for one’s sin indicates that one has not yet been granted the vision of how man was consieved before the creation of the world.” (archimandrite Sophrony, On prayer)
