International Festival of Orthodox Music

The third annual “Holy Mother of God – It Is Truly Meet” Festival of Orthodox Music will be held from 2 to 6 June in the Bulgarian resort Pomorje, under the patronage of Metropolitan Joannicius of Sliven. At the festival, which is held for the third time, choirs will compete in three nominations: Orthodox church choirs, east-Christian chant, and choirs and vocal ensembles. The participants at the festival will also discuss the main problems of the Orthodox music today as well as its preservation and spreading.
