An exhibition of Mount Athos' treasures will be held in Finland next August, on the occasion of Finland’s presidency of the European Union. All the 300 heirlooms to be exhibited in a two floors museum in Helsinki, originally from Mount Athos later became part of collections of museums in Russia, Cyprus, Germany and Greece. This exhibition is a special cultural event because the prevalent religion of this country is Lutheranism.
