The new internet portal dedicated to the Hierarchs’ and General Assembly of the Russian Orthodox Church, which will be started in a few days, is accessible under www.sobor2009.ru
The web-site contains an archive of documents from previous Assemblies, and also instructions related to the participants of the Assembly.
The characteristic is that the two most important events of the Church life, such as the Hierarchs’ Assembly of the Russian Orthodox Church, taking place from 25-26 of January, and the General Assembly, starting at the 27th of January in the cathedral of Christ the Saviour and lasting till January 29th, will be presented on the new site.
In the moment, there is an archive of the documents of the Assemblies, the programs of the Hierarchs’ and General Assembly are announced, the list of the Assembly participants, and the rules of behaving of the representatives of mass-media, as well.
It was planned official documents of the next Assemblies, news, photo-stories and video-materials to be edited at the site. Sources are provided by the press-service of the Hierarchs’ and General Assembly of the Russian Orthodox Church.
