At May, the 13th, the Patriarch of Constantinople has visited the hospital in Istanbul due to cold disease, lasting more than a week. Doctors have examined the health of Patriarch, and decided to keep the Patriarch in hospital, to follow the development of the cold and from preventive reasons, as well. A priest, serving the Patriarchate in Fanar, state to the “Romfea” press agency, that “the Ecumenical Patriarch felt very well and there was no any reason annoyance. He will be back to his duties in the next days.” “The planned Assembly of the Holy Synod is postponed” – stated in the Patriarchy.
